Year in Review – 2021

Published by QueUp on

As we put 2021 behind us, we wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who supported us over the past year. Despite the bugs and downtime, you have always been patient with us whilst we worked on addressing these issues.

When we relaunched back in March, we were quite anxious. We had been offline since the end of 2019 and we had no idea what to expect when our digital doors re-opened. To our surprise, we have seen so many familiar communities (and new ones!) join QueUp.

Since March, over 5000 people from around the world have signed up to QueUp. We can see that you’ve been busy curating your playlists, with over 15,000 playlists created in total with an average song count of 86. On the topic of songs, everyone seems to be enjoying what’s playing. In total, over 725,000 dubs have been given, with 99.67% of them being updubs.

Looking Ahead to 2022

Our main focus is to continue redeveloping the site from scratch which will allow us to grow and work towards our vision. With this in mind, we want to share our progress so far.

Whilst it’s not much at the moment, we are pretty happy with how the new lobby is coming along. You’ll notice that for the most part it looks the same as the current lobby, but with some minor changes.

As this is still in the early stages of development, the look is subject to change; however, the goal is to closely match the current interface, but with improvements and a better finish. When we feel the time is right, we will allow you to try out the new site for yourself. We’ll be sure to let you know when this is possible.

We want to again thank you for your continued support this year – You are truly what makes this community so special and we look forward to seeing you all in 2022.
